In 1987 Sinead’s debut album “The Lion and the Cobra” was released to huge critical acclaim. Her status grew as she went on to release a further seven hit albums worldwide. Over the past 18 years Sinéad has collaborated with many artists including Jah Wobble, The Chieftains, Shane McGowan, Peter Gabriel, MC Lyte, Willie Nelson, The The, Bomb the Bass, Afro-Celt Sound System, Roger Waters, Aslan, Ghostland, Luka Bloom, Asian Dub Foundation, Moby, Massive Attack and Sharon Shannon, as well as contributing tracks to film soundtracks, including Veronica Guerin released in summer 2003. The first CD here contains rare and unreleased material plus five new songs especially recorded for the album. The second is a live recording of her show at Vicar Street in Dublin in October 2002 containing tracks from her album, Sean-Nos Nua and some of her best loved hits.
