CELTIC THUNDER OFFICIAL OGHAM FAN SHIRT  

Celtic Thunder is proud to announce the introduction of the first official Celtic Thunder Fan Club T-Shirt, the Ogham Tee representing the essence of our Irish heritage. Designed by one of Irelands top graphic designers, the Ogham Tee spells the name of Celtic Thunder in the ancient Gaelic script.Ogham (pronounced ome) script is also referred to as a Celtic Tree Alphabet. This alphabet has an unusual naming system as every letter is named after a different tree. These ancient markings are uniquely Irish in origin. Back in the third century, the distinctive & seemingly cryptic groupings of horizontal and vertical lines known as Ogham script began to appear as an early Medieval Ogham alphabet. This script was used to write Old Irish and some historians believe that this written language dates back as far as the 1st Century. Usage of Ogham script was quite common and in Ireland certain areas feature hundreds of these strange markings, of which Kerry and Waterford are just some of many areas that these Historical Marking exist. Often, the markings will appear on stone monuments or be carved into wood.

TO OBTAIN CORRECT TEE SIZE:

Measure under arms around the fullest part of the chest, all the way around torso.

Be sure to keep the measuring tape level across back and comfortably loose.

SMALL – 35 to 37 INCH

MEDIUM – 38 to 40 INCH

LARGE – 41 to 43 INCH
